What is CSM3382
A professional desktop application to measure and analyze a room's acoustic parameters from its impulse response, compliant with ISO 3382-1 and the STI intelligibility index. It integrates the whole workflow into one clear, rigorous tool.
What sets it apart
Every ISO 3382 parameter
T30, T20 and EDT; C80, C50, D50 and Ts; STI and MTI; sound strength G; and spatial LF, LFC and IACC. By octave and one-third-octave band.
Three measurement methods
Sine sweep, maximum-length sequence (MLS) or import of an already-recorded WAV. Deconvolution and per-band calculation come from the same chain.
Professional interfaces
High-channel-count ASIO support —up to 32 inputs and 32 outputs— with channel selection; also MME, WASAPI, WDM-KS and DirectSound.
Automatic checks
Impulse detection, per-band signal-to-noise ratio, saturation and non-realizable bands — so you trust every measurement, not just the final figure.
Advanced visualization
3D waterfall (CSD), energy decay curve (Schroeder), spectrum and spectrogram with FFT up to 32,768 samples, and a gallery of the 18 figures that go into the report.
CADSFS integration
With CSM-link it compares the measurement against the model's prediction, computes the differences and their audibility (JND) and flags the modal bands — design and verification in one language.
Use cases
Consulting and expert reports
Measure RT, clarity and intelligibility and deliver a PDF report with 18 figures and tables, ready for the client or the file.
On-site verification
Compare what is measured against what was designed in CADSFS, with the differences expressed in JND, closing the loop between design and reality.
Speech intelligibility
STI and MTI per band for classrooms, conference rooms and PA systems, against the applicable criterion.
Research and education
Rigorous per-band parameters, export to Excel and clear visualization to teach and study room acoustics.
